National Roofing Contractors Association's Professional Roofing Magazine Launches Roofing Industry's First Digital Edition
Rosemont, Ill. Roofing professionals now have the flexibility to access up-to-date industry information from wherever they are with the recent launch of the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) Professional Roofing trade magazine's digital edition.
The first of its kind in the roofing industry, Professional Roofing's digital edition was released with the publication's January issue. The app is interactive and offers exclusive content, animation and sound, as well as provides instant access to advertisers' information. In addition, all links within the articles are live, enabling readers to share content via Facebook, Twitter and email.
"Our goal is to expand our offerings so members and other roofing professionals can receive useful information when and where they need it," explains Carl Good, NRCA Associate Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development. "Professional Roofing's digital edition takes the magazine to a new level it offers more than quality content; it offers a good overall experience."
Current NRCA members and subscribers to Professional Roofing's print edition have an automatic subscription to the digital edition and are only required to provide some basic login information to activate their accounts. New subscribers are asked to complete a brief subscription form to begin receiving the digital edition. Once a person subscribes, past Professional Roofing issues will be archived into the subscriber's tablet device. Print editions of the magazine will continue to be mailed to current subscribers.
In addition to Professional Roofing, NRCA plans to offer its other publications in digital format and will launch its standalone app later this year. Through the app, members will be able to access technical documents, such as The NRCA Roofing Manual, electronically share details and watch training videos on their tablet devices.
