TAMKO donates $100,000 to American Red Cross for Hurricane Maria
NRCA member TAMKO Building Products Inc., Joplin, Mo., has again donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross; the funds
are designated for assistance with Hurricane Maria disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico. The company previously
donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross in September to help with Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts in
Houston and the surrounding area.
"The magnitude of destruction left behind from recent hurricanes is unsettling," says TAMKO's President and CEO David
Humphreys. "TAMKO is dedicated to helping others, and we know that through the Red Cross we can do just that,
particularly when those needs are so urgent."
In the past, TAMKO has donated to help with disaster recovery from tornadoes that ravaged towns where TAMKO has
operations, including Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Joplin, which were struck by devastating tornadoes in 2011.
