Safety and insurance

NRCA's Enterprise Risk Management Section monitors health, safety, insurance, legislative and regulatory issues affecting the roofing industry. Staff members provide roofing contractors with information about such issues through four committees. They develop and maintain products and programs to assist contractors in meeting their loss-control and regulatory compliance responsibilities. Staff members manage NRCA's sponsored or endorsed insurance products for roofing contractors. 

The Enterprise Risk Management Section designs, develops and/or delivers a number of safety, health and management classes offered by NRCA, including the OSHA 10- and 30-hour programs; For Foremen Only; NRCA/MRCA Certified Roofing Torch Applicator Program; Train-the-Trainer; and Roofing Industry Fall Protection from A to Z. In particular, staff is responsible for NRCA's Future Executive Institute (FEI), three-year executive education leadership program held at Northwestern University's No. 1-rated Kellogg School of Management.



Insurance

NRCA endorsed various insurance programs to help roofing contractors find the best insurance for their businesses and workers.

In addition, NRCA sponsors the NRCA National Health Care Program, which offers affordable health insurance for organizations of all sizes. This is a members-only captive health care benefits program utilizing the CIGNA provider network. This program offers NRCA members coverage options and extremely competitive rates.
