Metric-sized ply sheets impact conventional application and analysis methods. At first glance, the only apparent difference between conventional and metric-sized ply sheets is widty. However, the change in width affects application equipment, lay-lilne spacing, headlap and size of starter sheets. This article helps the contractor understand some of those differences.
