Professional Roofing

steep-slope; manual; 2013; update

Published in January, The NRCA Roofing Manual: Steep-slope Roof Systems—2013 is the latest volume of The NRCA Roofing Manual. This year’s volume replaces The NRCA Roofing Manual: Steep-slope Roof Systems—2009. NRCA’s new steep-slope manual provides NRCA’s current best-practice guidelines for design and application of steep-slope roof systems, including asphalt shingle, clay and concrete tile, metal shingle, slate, and wood shake and wood shingle roof systems. The new volume is intended to be used with its companion volumes in The NRCA Roofing Manual series: The NRCA Roofing Manual: Metal Panel and SPF Roof Systems—2012; The NRCA Roofing Manual: Membrane Roof Systems—2011; and The NRCA Roofing Manual: Architectural Metal Flashing, Condensation Control and Reroofing—2010.
