NRCA Executive Vice President William A. Good, CAE, is a career association management professional and certified association executive (CAE). He began his NRCA career in 1973 and served in a variety of capacities until he left in 1985 to form a video production company in Dallas, which he subsequently sold to his partner. Good returned to NRCA in 1987 as head of the staff.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Good holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is past chairman of the board of Association Forum of Chicagoland (formerly the Chicago Society of Association Executives) and a former national chairman of the board of trustees of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institutes for Organizational Management. He served as chairman of the Certification Commission of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 1996 and currently serves on ASAE's Board of Directors.
Good lives in suburban Chicago with his wife and two stepsons. His hobbies include tennis, photography, travel and youth sports programs.
