EMPIRE ROOFING INC. WINS NRCA GOLD CIRCLE AWARD

Orlando, Fla.—During the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) 118th Annual Convention held Feb. 14-18, Empire Roofing Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, won NRCA's Gold Circle Award for service to the community.

Empire Roofing received the award for its donation of materials and labor to remove and reroof the roof of All Saints Catholic School. Two existing faulty roof systems were removed, and the company installed rosin paper; a 28-pound base sheet; two layers of Type IV felt in hot asphalt; Ruberoid torch-modified cap sheet; and new metal, gravel guard and vents. The estimated value of the materials and labor donated is $45,655.

The Gold Circle Awards program annually honors NRCA members and affiliate organizations from around the world. Recipients are recognized by their peers for significant contributions to the roofing industry in one of four categories: workmanship, innovation, service to the community and service to the industry.
