NRCA RELEASES STEEP-SLOPE ROOFING MATERIALS GUIDE Rosemont, Ill.—The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has released its 2007-08 Steep-slope Roofing Materials Guide. The 270-page guide includes information from 49 roofing manufacturers about 382 steep-slope products, including asphalt shingles, fiber-cement and synthetic roof components, metal roof components, tile, wood shakes and shingles, slate and underlayment. The guide features detailed descriptions, comparative data, manufacturer-reported wind and fire ratings, ASTM International test results and building code approvals, all formatted for side-by-side comparison. The 2007-08 Steep-slope Roofing Materials Guide is available for $95 to NRCA members and $175 to nonmembers.
