2010 IRE launches redesigned Web site

The 2010 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) has launched a redesigned Web site at www.TheRoofingExpo.com that offers a new look, simplified navigation and improved usability that reportedly will help attendees and exhibitors access information more quickly and easily.

"IRE continually strives to provide the best to its attendees and exhibitors," says IRE Director Donna Bellantone. "The Web site redesign allows users to find information quickly and easily, ultimately bringing even more value to their show experiences."

The new Web site features three sections designed for different user types—attendees, exhibitors or press—and provides content based specifically on their needs. Menu tabs in each section contain drop-down menus of related pages that are only visible when the user's cursor hovers over the tab. To help highlight important information, almost every page includes modules, which are custom content areas that change frequently depending on the subject matter.

"The new Web site offers incredible information about the show in a manner that is clean and crisp," says Bill Good, executive vice president of NRCA, the show's official sponsor. "I encourage all our members to use the Web site frequently."

The Web site also contains ConnectionPOINT, an attendee and exhibitor portal that serves as event headquarters. ConnectionPOINT is a private, personal section that is accessible only with a customized e-code.

Attendees can access ConnectionPOINT to print conference handouts and certificates, read conference blogs, review hanleywoodCONNECT matches, create a detailed show agenda, search show specials, obtain a visa letter, read industry news and more.

Exhibitors can register for badges, complete the Program & Event Guide information, access the Exhibitor Service Manual, review hanleywoodCONNECT matches, review booth invoices, review status of sponsorships, manage exhibitor appointed contractors, obtain a visa letter, review past exhibit history and more.

After registering for IRE, e-codes will be sent to attendees about two months before the show. Exhibitors received e-codes in their booth confirmation packets.

The 2010 IRE will be held Feb. 22-24, 2010, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
