BASF plans to increase prices
Effective Jan. 1, 2010, BASF Corp., Florham Park, N.J., will increase prices for all grades of Styropor® expandable polystyrene (EPS) in North America by 4 cents per pound.
The increase is attributed to a rise in raw materials costs, especially benzene, which is a principal precursor in EPS production.
