The NRCA Roofing Manual: Metal Panel and SPF Roof Systems—2012 now is available on NRCA's website.

The manual provides comprehensive information, including design, materials and installation techniques applicable to metal panel and spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roof systems used for low- and steep-slope applications.

The Metal Panel Roof Systems section includes guidelines applicable to metal and metal panel roof systems, substrates, architectural metal panel systems and structural metal panel roof systems, as well as 91 construction details. The SPF Roof Systems section includes information about materials, design considerations, application and design guidelines, as well as 41 construction details—including SPF reroofing details.

The manual is a volume in The NRCA Roofing Manual, which is a series that updates and replaces The NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual, Fifth Edition, including its 2003 and 2006 interim updates. The four-volume series also includes The NRCA Roofing Manual: Steep-slope Roof Systems—2009; The NRCA Roofing Manual: Architectural Metal Flashing, Condensation Control and Reroofing—2010; and The NRCA Roofing Manual: Membrane Roof Systems—2011.
