SEIA offers free webinar about OSHA fall-protection regulations
The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) will offer a free webinar June 7 at 1 p.m. EST. SEIA Installer Safety Series: Fall Protection will cover Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fall-protection regulations affecting low- and steep-slope roofing work, as well as OSHA fall-protection rules for working on solar roof installations.
Learn about the essential components of a fall-protection program and how they translate to the training your staff may require for installing OSHA-compliant solar-related systems. Speakers include Tom Shanahan, NRCA’s associate executive director of risk management, and Jared Vaught, area safety manager for SolarCity, San Mateo, Calif.
