NRCA's Risk Management Section monitors health, safety, insurance, legislative and
regulatory issues affecting the roofing industry. Staff members provide roofing
contractors with information about such issues through four committees. They develop
and maintain products and programs to assist contractors in meeting their loss-control
and regulatory compliance responsibilities. Staff members regularly work with committee
members to develop and maintain health and safety programs and executive management
programs and manage NRCA's sponsored or endorsed insurance products for roofing
contractors.
Among the products and programs the Risk Management Section and NRCA committees
have helped develop and produce are
The NRCA Safety Manual, Second Edition; NRCA
Toolbox Talks;
NRCA Pocket Guide to Safety and more than 20 DVD-based instructional
programs and numerous Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) training
grant programs.
The Risk Management Section designs, develops and/or delivers a number of safety,
health and management classes offered by NRCA, including the OSHA 10- and 30-hour
