Jason P. Wilen, AIA, director of technical services, joined the NRCA staff in 2011.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology,
Chicago, and is a licensed architect in Illinois. Before coming to NRCA, he worked
for traditional and forensic architectural firms, most recently serving as vice
president for the Chicago firm Brook Architecture. He is a past president of the
Northern Illinois Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and currently
serves on the board of the Chicago area chapter of the Roof Consultants Institute.
For NRCA, he is responsible for developing technical documents, responding to requests
for technical assistance, coordinating with technical committees and contributing
articles to
Professional Roofing magazine.
