NRCA's 128th Annual Convention, in conjunction with Hanley Wood's 2015 International Roofing Expo® (IRE), was held
Feb. 22 to 26 in New Orleans. NRCA's educational programs were held Feb. 23, 24 and 26, providing participants with
CERTA, OSHA 10-hour and for foremen training. In addition, NRCA's Future Executives Institute (FEI) held classes during
the 2015 convention.
Also held Feb. 23 was ROOFPAC's Golf Tournament and a reception hosted by NRCA for international attendees, as well as
The Roofing Alliance for Progress' reception. ROOFPAC's silent auction was held Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.
On Feb. 24, elections for the 2015-16 officers were held, naming Lindy Ryan, Tecta America Southeast LLC, Sanford, Fla.
as the next president. Also held Feb. 24 was the National Roofing Legal Resource Center's luncheon program. On Feb. 25
NRCA held its Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception where the J.A. Piper Award, Charlie Raymond Awards, CNA/NRCA
Community Involvement Awards, Alliance's Most Valuable Player Awards and Gold Circle Awards were presented.
The 2015 IRE began Feb. 24 and ran through Feb. 26, offering educational conferences, an exhibit hall, keynote speaker
Ken Schmidt and a welcome party at Generations Hall.
