Student assessment

Workers enrolled in the ProForeman certificate program are assessed via the following:
  • A 10-question, multiple-choice online math assessment
  • Certificates of completion for two online modules about codes
  • A report of a recently completed roof system installation
  • Participation in an industry update webinar facilitated by NRCA technical staff
  • Verification of completion for two NRCA webinars
  • Completed and approved packet for the job-shadowing program
  • Certificates of completion of For Foreman Only, Levels One and Two (two separate classes)
  • Participation in Communicating More Effectively webinar
  • Participation in Leadership and Management: What's the difference? webinar
  • Short video submission of a participant teaching a short lesson (e.g., Toolbox Talk) or a copy of participants CERTA authorized trainer card
  • Verification of viewing How to be an Excellent Trainer
  • Verification of teaching Foundations of Roofing
  • Copy of OSHA 30-hour card (an OSHA 10-hour card from a roofing-specific class may qualify)
  • Certificate of completion from NRCA's class Roofing Fall Protection from A to Z
  • Verification of completion (for both the sponsor and participant) from NRCA's competent person webinar
  • Copy of the final exam from Serving Up Safety: A Recipe for Avoiding Falls on the Job
  • Completion of job-site inspection packet
  • Capstone conference call
