NRCA's Technical Services Section is members' resource for technical-related roofing
industry issues.
The section handled 2,039 requests for technical assistance and problem analysis,
and the technical staff made 18 educational program presentations.
Various new technical manuals and products were released, including The NRCA Green
Roof Systems Manual—2007 Edition, The NRCA Roofing Manual: Metal Panel and
SPF Roof Systems—2008 Edition and The NRCA Building Codes Manual, Third
Edition.
In addition, the Performance Criteria for Constructed Roof Systems (PCCRS) Council,
which is responsible for the administration and general oversight of PCCRS, made
built-up and SPF drafts available to the public for review and comments. This month,
revised drafts are expected to be made available to individuals who reviewed the
initial drafts.
