Deadline: The deadline for 2012 submissions has passed.
Eligibility: NRCA contractor member companies
Overview: NRCA and CNA have partnered to honor charitable works by NRCA member
contractors. Projects, donations, etc., must have been completed between Jan. 1,
2012, and Nov. 30, 2012. One winning company will receive $5,000 payable to its
charity. Two runners-up will receive $1,000 each payable to their charities.
Submission guidelines: Any charitable project undertaken by an NRCA contractor
member company is eligible for nomination. Projects do not have to involve roofing
work. For example, they can be funds raised for a cause or volunteer work at a children's
hospital. Submissions should include an in-depth description of the charitable work,
testimonial from the receiving charity and any supporting material (photos, video,
etc.). A panel of judges from CNA and NRCA will determine the winning charity and
runners-up.
Award: Finalists have been notified. The award was presented
during NRCA's 126th Annual Convention in San Antonio, Feb. 3-7.
