Entry information
Entry deadline
The deadline for 2010 Gold Circle Awards submissions has passed. Nomination forms
for the 2011 award cycle will be available July 2010. For more information about
the program, please contact Chrystine Hanus, NRCA's director of meeting services,
at
chanus@nrca.net.
Entry rules
NRCA
member contractors and organizations from around the world will be recognized
by their peers for significant, singular contributions to the roofing industry.
Self-nominations are not accepted, and a nominator cannot be employed by the roofing
contracting company being nominated.
However, nominated companies may help in the
preparation of the entry to ensure adequate information is provided.
Nominations will be accepted from:
- building owners
- design professionals
- NRCA affiliate executives
- insurance companies
- manufacturers
The awards program is designed to recognize NRCA members; nominated contractors
and organizations must be members of NRCA.
Unique roofing-related jobs, programs and services completed between June 1, 2007,
and May 31, 2009, are eligible for the competition. Judges are not eligible to participate.
Entry Preparation
A nomination should consist of the following:
- An official nomination form and description of the project, program, service
or event. In addition to the nomination form, on a separate sheet, please describe
what made the project, program, service or event so unique that it should be considered
for a Gold Circle Award. Provide adequate detail (250 words - 500 words) so judges
have a basis of comparison with other nominations.
- Other relevant entry materials. In addition to the nomination form and description
of the project, program, service or event, include relevant items. Photographs,
booklets, etc., are recommended.
Descriptive photographs must be submitted for entries in the workmanship and innovative
categories.
Awards will be made strictly on the basis of the contribution, not the professionalism
of the submitted nomination package.
Please remember the only information the judges will have to make their decision
is the information and pictures received with the entry.
Package entries carefully. Applicants are responsible for all shipment, postage
and customs clearance in sending entries to NRCA. NRCA cannot be responsible for
loss or damage to any entry submitted.
All entries become the property of NRCA. Do not send irreplaceable materials.
