Most Valuable Player Awards

When a coin collector finds an exceedingly rare coin, the entire collection increases in value. Just like a coin collection, the value of a roofing company's field workers increases with an outstanding worker. The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress' Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards program recognizes those special coins in the industry—the outstanding workers.

Winning a Most Valuable Player (MVP) award is an outstanding accomplishment and great honor. Companies nominate their employees who deserve to be recognized for exceptional achievements and contributions to the roofing industry in five categories.

MVPs are role models who demonstrate work-related and personal goals to which others aspire. Through this program, you can nominate your MVP for an award to formally recognize his or her outstanding contributions.

In addition, one of the MVP winners will be chosen to be Professional Roofing's Best of the Best. Professional Roofing and OMG Roofing Products Inc. are co-sponsoring this elite recognition. In addition to a special prize, the winner will be featured in an article in Professional Roofing.

The MVP award program is open to roofing contracting and distributor and supplier firms.

Each contact person submitting an MVP nomination will be eligible to win an iPad2 16GB with Wi-Fi. And each person whose name is submitted as an MVP nominee will be placed in a drawing for a $100 American Express gift card. Both drawings will be held Dec. 1, 2011, in the Alliance office in Rosemont, Ill. Winners will be notified within two weeks.

Questions regarding the MVP Awards Program can be addressed to Bennett Judson, the Alliance's executive director, at (800) 323-9545, ext. 7513 or bjudson@roofingindustryalliance.net.

Deadline for submissions is Nov. 25, 2011.
