Frank E. Lawson Jr., president of The Lawson Roofing Co. Inc., San Francisco
Lawson's career began in 1968 when he started working for his father at The Lawson
Roofing Co. Inc. in San Francisco. Although Lawson originally planned to be a police
officer, he eventually changed his mind and joined his father. Lawson worked his
way through the company; from apprentice to president, Lawson knows the industry.

Lawson has been NRCA president and held leadership positions with the Western States
Roofing Contractors Association and Roofing Contractors Association of California.
After his NRCA presidency, Lawson continues to serve the associationLawson
was an active member of NRCA's Manual Update Committee, which recently completed
the fifth edition of
The NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual.
