Disaster Relief video

On the morning of Aug. 29, 2005, the most devastating hurricane in American history made landfall in Southeast Louisiana. Responsible for an estimated 1,800 deaths, Hurricane Katrina caused more than $100 billion in damage. Less than one month later, the Atlantic's fourth-most intense hurricane, Hurricane Rita, made landfall on Texas and Louisiana, costing more lives and another $11.2 billion in damage.

In the aftermath of the hurricanes, NRCA's president at the time, Reid Ribble, made an impassioned plea to members for support. NRCA members opened their hearts and wallets and contributed more than $300,000 to the relief efforts. This humanitarian video provides an overview of the projects and people NRCA members helped.
