NRCA established The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress' Disaster Relief Fund
to provide new roofs in regions affected by natural disasters.
The Community Service and Disaster Relief Committee is responsible for fund distribution.
Its objective is to manage NRCA's involvement with service and charitable organizations;
identify new opportunities as they emerge; document and publicize ongoing community
service performed by members; ensure existing relationships are properly maintained;
work closely with Rebuilding Together as a national partner, providing assistance
whenever possible; and identify a charitable partner with needs for roof systems
in an effort to help communities.
