Rene Dupuis awarded roofing industry's highest honor

RENE DUPUIS AWARDED ROOFING INDUSTRY'S HIGHEST HONOR Las Vegas—Rene Dupuis, president of SRI Consultants Inc., Middleton, Wis., was named the 61st recipient of the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) J.A. Piper Award during NRCA's 121st Annual Convention Feb. 19-23. Presented each year at NRCA's annual convention, the J.A. Piper Award recognizes roofing professionals who have devoted constant, outstanding service to NRCA and the roofing industry. Dupuis has been a presence in the roofing industry since the 1970s and an NRCA member since 1983. He has been a member of the Architect/Engineer/Consultant Advisory Committee, Factory Mutual Contractor Approval Standard TF Committee and Spray Polyurethane Foam Committee. Additionally, he has served as an NRCA Gold Circle Award judge since 1997. First presented in 1948, the J.A. Piper Award is named for former NRCA President Joseph A. Piper, whose extraordinary efforts kept the association alive during the Great Depression. ###
