NRCA elects Robert McNamara senior vice president

NRCA ELECTS ROBERT MCNAMARA SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT


Las Vegas—Robert McNamara, president of F.J.A. Christensen Roofing Co. Inc., Milwaukee, a Tecta America company, was elected 2008-09 senior vice president of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) during NRCA's 121st Annual Convention Feb. 19-23.

On June 1, McNamara will begin his term as the second highest-ranking officer of one of the oldest construction trade associations in the U.S.

McNamara served as NRCA's vice president from 2006-08. He also was a director from 1996-99 and 2002-06. He served as chairman of the Contractor Management Committee from 1998-2000 and 2004-06. He also has served as vice president liaison to many NRCA committees, including the Career Path Committee, Community Service and Disaster Relief Committee, Distance Learning Committee and Education Management Committee.

Established in 1886, NRCA is one of the construction industry's oldest trade associations and the voice of professional roofing contractors worldwide. The association has more than 4,000 members from all 50 states and 54 countries and is affiliated with 105 local, state, regional and international roofing contractor associations.
