NRCA'S ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL SERVICES RECEIVES AWARD

Rosemont, Ill.—On June 16, ASTM International awarded Mark S. Graham, the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) associate executive director of technical services, its William C. Cullen Award.

ASTM Technical Committee D08 on Roofing and Waterproofing established the William C. Cullen Award to recognize outstanding contributions and personal commitment by Committee D08 members to the field of roofing and waterproofing.

"As a 15-year member representing NRCA, Mark has made many outstanding contributions to ASTM International, particularly D08," says Walter J. Rossiter, last year's award winner, who presented the award. "Mark's major contribution to the advancement of roofing and waterproofing science and technology has been through his efforts as NRCA' director of technical services. In this position, he is the NRCA technical spokesperson and advocate for good roofing practices. Through this position, he has built a broad expertise on roofing technology that is at least the equal to that of any industry leader."

"I'm honored that my efforts, and NRCA's, are being recognized by ASTM International," Graham says. "The award being named after Bill Cullen has special meaning. Not only was Bill a good friend, he was also the forerunner for much of the technical information we rely on in the industry today."
