The Alliance presents the 2010-11 Most Valuable Player Awards Program

THE ALLIANCE PRESENTS THE 2010-11 Most Valuable Player Awards Program Rosemont, Ill.—The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress presents its 2010-11 Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards program which, in addition to roofing contracting firms, is now open to distributor and supplier firms. MVPs demonstrate work-related and personal goals to which others aspire. The program formally recognizes employees who, under normal circumstances, may not be publicly recognized for their efforts, or eligible to participate in company recognition or incentive programs. Up to 10 workers will receive the recognition. MVP winners will receive two complimentary airfares and two nights' hotel accommodations during the National Roofing Contractors Association's (NRCA's) 124th Annual Convention in Las Vegas; one complimentary conference registration and exhibit hall pass to the International Roofing Expo; two complimentary tickets to the NRCA Cocktail and Awards Reception; and a $100 American Express gift certificate. Additionally, one MVP winner will be chosen to be Professional Roofing's Best of the Best, an award co-sponsored by OMG Inc., Agawam, Mass. Self-nominations are not allowed. Each participating firm must prepare and submit an official entry form along with supporting information. Roofing contracting firm employees eligible for nomination include any field roofing worker, foreman or superintendent. Nominations per firm may not exceed three per company branch. Eligible distributor or supplier firm employees include warehouse employees, warehouse foremen, drivers or equipment operators. Nominations may not exceed five per national firm. The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress was established within the National Roofing Foundation (NRF) to create an endowment fund to serve as a highly focused resource for the roofing industry and its customers. The Alliance's objectives are to conduct research and education projects that support high-quality programs for roofing contractors; ensure timely and forward-thinking industry responses to major economic and technological issues; and enhance the long-term viability and attractiveness of the industry to roofing workers.
