NRCA ELECTS BRUCE MCCRORY PRESIDENT
Orlando, Fla.Bruce McCrory, co-owner and secretary/treasurer of Kiker Corp.,
Mobile, Ala., was elected 2012-13 president of the National Roofing Contractors
Association (NRCA) during NRCA's 125th Annual Convention held Feb. 20-24.
On June 1, McCrory will begin his one-year term as the highest-ranking officer of
one of the U.S.' oldest construction trade associations.
McCrory served as NRCA's 2011-12 senior vice president and as an NRCA vice president
from 2006-08 and 2009-11. He also served on NRCA's board of directors from 1998-99
and 2004-09. He is a former president of the National Roofing Legal Resource Center
and a director of The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress. Additionally, he has
served on a number of NRCA committees, including the Technical Operations Committee,
Roofing and Waterproofing Manual Update Committee, Building Codes Committee, Membership
Marketing Committee, Contractor Management Committee and Communications Task Force.
