The 2009 International Roofing Expo begins today at the Mandalay Bay Convention
Center in Las Vegas. Registration booths will be open today from 6:45 a.m. to 5
p.m. at the convention center. Activities will begin at 7:45 a.m. with Hanley Wood's
educational conferences followed by Bill Walton's keynote address at 9:45 a.m. The
exhibit hall will open at 11 a.m., and the welcome party will be held from 5:30
to 7:30 p.m. at Tao.
Today's activities also include NRCA's Future Executives Institute lunch at 11:30
a.m.; NRCA's Roofing Council luncheon meeting at noon; and the National Roofing
Legal Resource Center board meeting at 2 p.m. Each of these events will be held
at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. In addition, the Future Executives Institute
will be in session from 1 to 5 p.m. and its informational session and reception,
by invitation only, will start at 6:30 p.m.
Yesterday afternoon, golfers met at Angel Park Golf Club to support ROOFPAC, NRCA's
political action committee, in a shotgun-start tournament. Winners of this year's
tournament were:
