Satellite registration for the 2011 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) will be
available from 7 to 10 a.m. at Encore. During this time, attendees can register
for trade show and convention events. In addition, IRE's traditional registration
will be open from noon to 5 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center. IRE's Community
Service Day will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
NRCA University's educational program, CERTA Train-the-trainer Authorization, will
be offered from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Las Vegas Hilton. Rooftop Photovoltaics:
Energizing Your Business will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Encore and
Roofing Industry Fall Protection from A to Z will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
also at Encore. In addition, NRCA will hold its Future Executives Institute (FEI)
4 and 5 classes and lunch at Encore starting at 8 a.m.
Today's events also include the National Roofing Legal Resource Center Annual Breakfast
Program from 7:15 to 9:15 a.m. During the program, industry experts will provide
you with an in-depth analysis of TPO membrane performance, ASTM update, and discussion
of water-based bonding adhesive problems, coverboard issues and on-site FM 1-52
field uplift testing results. The program includes breakfast.
ROOFPAC's Golf Tournament, sponsored by Johns Manville, Denver, will be held today
at Angel Park Golf Course. The event will raise money for ROOFPAC, NRCA's political
action committee.
Participants will play in ROOFPAC's golf tournament today at Angel
Park Golf Course.
This evening, NRCA will host an FEI Cocktail Reception from 5 to 6 p.m. The Roofing
Industry Alliance for Progress will hold its reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and NRCA
will host an international reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All events are at Encore
and by invitation only.
