The 2012 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) begins today at the Orange County
Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Registration booths will be open from 6:45 a.m.
to 5 p.m. at the convention center. Activities will begin at 7:45 a.m. with Hanley
Wood's educational conferences followed by the IRE keynote with Kyle Petty at 9:45
a.m.

The exhibit hall will open at 11 a.m., and the welcome party will be held from 5:30
to 7:30 p.m. at Universal Studios City Walk.
Today's activities also include NRCA's International Relations Committee meeting
at 8 a.m.; the ROOFPAC silent auction from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at ROOFPAC's booth,
440; NRCA's Roofing Council luncheon meeting at noon; and the National Roofing Legal
Resource Center board meeting at noon. Each of these events will be held at the
Orange County Convention Center. The Future Executives Institute (FEI) will be in
session from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton and NRCA will host an FEI information
session reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m., also at the Hilton. In addition, NRCA's Former
Presidents dinner will be held at Timpano Italian Chophouse at 6 p.m.
Mike McEnany won the closest to the pin during ROOFPAC's golf tournament Feb. 21.
Yesterday afternoon, participants played in ROOFPAC's golf tournament at ChampionsGate
Golf Club. The winner was Charles Gay. Second place was Doug Lanien. Third place
went to Dan Giese. Mike McEnany won the closest to the pin.
The golf tournament was held to raise money for ROOFPAC and support pro-business
candidates.
