Energy-efficient Roof Systems: Building Owner and Design Professional Training
This half-day educational program brings commercial building owners and design professionals
up-to-date with regard to energy awareness as it relates to roofing. The program's
discussion modules address the following:
- Factors influencing energy awareness, including energy usage and consumption, global
warming and urban heat islands
- Financial incentives at federal, state and local levels
- Energy standards and building codes
- Energy programs, innovations and incentives
- High-performance design options, including photovoltaic and cool roofing technologies,
green roof systems and wind generation
