The following topics will be covered:

Communication

By participating in practical exercises and learning about fundamental communication research, your foreman will develop stronger communication skills. Your foreman will:
  • Explore his own pattern of communication behavior and learn to take advantage of his personal strengths
  • Discover the importance of nonverbal communication and how it affects the ability to communicate and lead
Discipline

Foremen often need to take disciplinary action. This course introduces methods for communicating tactfully in a variety of tough situations and addressing a range of employee behaviors often encountered on the job. Your foreman will:
  • Discover how to deliver criticism constructively, resulting in positive change
  • Learn the ground rules for successful conflict resolution
Leadership

The degree of career success your foreman enjoys is dictated by how well he can communicate with others on the job. This workshop will help him communicate more powerfully, diplomatically and effectively every time. Your foreman will:
  • Find out how to build a rapport and establish credibility with his fellow crew members and supervisors
  • Learn how to motivate his crews to positively affect job-site productivity
  • Develop an action plan to implement the new skills he has learned
In this workshop, your foreman will share his experiences, learn what works and why, and gain the confidence he needs to carry out his important role in ensuring your company's future success.
