Roof Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair for Commercial Buildings

Roof Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair for Commercial Buildings links

Roof systems are valuable assets that must be maintained and protected. A successful roof asset management program depends on periodic inspections and regularly scheduled maintenance. This course will teach you how to perform visual roof inspections, roof moisture surveys and test cuts. You will learn how to document and evaluate your findings to prioritize repair strategies and establish preventive maintenance plans. Emergency/temporary repair procedures for several common low-slope roof systems also are discussed.

This course will benefit commercial building owners and facility managers.

Note: If conditions permit, this program involves an on-site roof inspection that may require ladder access to a roof. Although useful, this exercise is not a requirement for successful completion of the program. Please wear appropriate clothing if you choose to participate.

Accreditation (pending approval):

1.5 CEUs
