Roof Repair and Maintenance
Roof Repair and Maintenance links
Roof system maintenance is often the most neglected area of a roof management program.
It's also the single most important factor (after proper installation) for determining
the life span and cost of a roof system. This course provides hands-on exercises
to guide you through emergency/temporary and permanent repair procedures based on
NRCA's
Repair Manual for Low-slope Membrane Roof Systems.
This course will benefit facility managers and new roofing contractors.
Note: We will be conducting repairs in this class. Wear a long-sleeved shirt
and proper footwear. All other required personal protective equipment will be provided.

Testimonials
"I have taken many technical 'trade' or 'craft' type training classes over the last
25 years. This particular class, Roof Repair and Maintenance, by far has been one
of the most informative and educational experiences I have had. I walked away with
a wealth of knowledge and learned skills. The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable
and clearly are masters in the trade of roofing. My understanding and respect for
the trade has grown exponentially. I would recommend this class to anyone in the
field."
Leo Semma, Brookhaven National Laboratory, New York
"I'm an engineer doing building inspections and getting into roof inspections. This
course was exactly what I needed."
Edward Ellingson, Milwaukee, Wis.
"I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. I would like to see more hands-on instruction
as that is where I learn the most. The instructors were very knowledgeable about
roofing products."
Tom Mestemacher, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Minnesota
"I learned a lot about repairing low-slope roof systems. My experience is in steep-slope
roof systems. The hands-on portion was great!"
David Klossner, FCI Englewood
"This class was worth every dime and every minute of my time. The class was particularly
helpful in identifying problems and repairs. I would take this class again to enhance
my knowledge and would recommend it to others."

be invited in the future to any new and updated training that would apply."
