The Political Insiders Council (PIC) was established in July 2005 as the major donor
program of ROOFPAC, NRCA's political action committee. Members commit to contribute
the maximum allowable donation to ROOFPAC as an individual ($5,000 per year). Contributions
to ROOFPAC events, such as its auction and sporting tournaments, do not count toward
the annual $5,000 commitment.
PIC member benefits include:
- PIC welcome package, including various ROOFPAC items, shirts and PIC merchandise
- PIC Retreat—a weekend meeting at various and exciting destinations across the
United States
- Opportunities to meet with key elected officials to discuss critical issues affecting
your business and the roofing industry
- Opportunities to attend events with elected officials and party leaders to hand-deliver
ROOFPAC contributions in your home state
- The ability to direct $1,000 of your contribution to a general election candidate
you would like to support, in consultation with NRCA's Washington, D.C. office
- Complimentary participation in all ROOFPAC events*
- Private events throughout the year, including NRCA's annual convention, midyear
meetings and fall meetings**
- Named recognition on NRCA's Web site and in Professional Roofing magazine
- Eligibility to be ROOFPAC's Donor of the Year to be presented by NRCA's president
and PAC Advisory Committee Chairman
- Reserved seating at major NRCA events throughout the year
- Monthly 10@10 issues update directly from NRCA's Washington, D.C., office
