Entry-level training

Entry-level roofing workers can be trained, gain experience and earn money while they learn the roofing trade. Some roofing contracting companies offer approved apprenticeship programs*, or new roofing workers can join apprentice programs conducted by the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers to develop and improve their skills.

*Approved apprenticeship programs are registered with the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training of the U.S. Department of Labor.
