Alliance announces new board

The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress has announced the members of its 2012-13 board of trustees.

Robert Therrien Jr., president of The Melanson Co. Inc., Keene, N.H., will serve as president; Jim MacKimm, executive vice president of Beacon Roofing Supply Inc., Somerville, Mass., will serve as vice president; Dan Murphy, Longmeadow, Mass., will serve as secretary/treasurer; and John Embow, president of Grove Roofing Services Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., will serve as NRCA vice president liaison.

Committee members include Dennis Conway, co-owner of Commercial Roofers Inc., Las Vegas; Bob Daly, president of Kaw Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., Kansas City, Kan.; Will Fort III, president of Fort Roofing and Sheet Metal Works, Sumter, S.C.; Bob Gardiner, vice president of marketing for CertainTeed Roofing, Valley Forge, Pa.; Reed Gooding, president of GSM Roofing, Ephrata, Pa.; Scott Kawulok, executive project manager for B&M Roofing of Colorado Inc., Frederick, Colo.; Josh Kelly, vice president and general manager of OMG Roofing Products, Agawam, Mass.; Steve Kubicka, director of commercial products for ABC Supply, Beloit, Wis.; Molly Kwiatkowski, area sales director for Owens Corning, Toledo, Ohio; Rob McNamara, president of Tecta America Stock Roofing LLC, Minneapolis; James Patterson, senior vice president—procurement for CentiMark Corp., Canonsburg, Pa.; Nick Shears, vice president of sales and marketing for Carlisle SynTec Inc., Carlisle, Pa.; Jeff Willis, vice president of sales and marketing for Roofing Supply Group LLC, Dallas; and David Workman, president and chief executive officer of RoofConnect, Sheridan, Ark.
