Center task force opens public comment on racking criteria for metal roof systems
The Center PV Taskforce is releasing the first public draft of PV Racking and Attachment Criteria for Effective Low Slope Metal Panel Roof System Integration for an initial round of public comment. The first draft has been prepared by the task force and Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing staff members.
The document is intended to enhance collaboration between key stakeholders from the solar and roofing industries and accelerate the deployment of rooftop integrated solar installations. Members of the solar industry and other interested parties are encouraged to submit comments and engage the task force in future stakeholder discussions. Task force members also will accept comments from the at-large community and consider those comments within internal stakeholder discussions.
The Center PV Taskforce will accept public comments until 5 p.m. EST Feb. 20. Following are directions for submitting comments:
