NRLRC releases guide to construction contracts
The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) has released A Roofing Contractors Guide to Construction Contracts, which addresses how to identify and understand the critical clauses in a contract before signing, providing roofing contractors with more effective ways to manage risk and reduce claims. The guide also discusses the rules of contract interpretation, payment terms and scheduling costs, as well as dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration versus litigation if roofing contractors become involved in a contract dispute.
