The center will hold a webcast about LEED v4
The Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing will hold a webcast, "Leed v4: What you Need to Know Before Greenbuild 2012," Nov. 2 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT.
The U.S. Green Building Council released LEED v4 (previously LEED 2012) Oct. 2 for public comment. LEED v4 includes numerous updates, including expanded market sectors and an increased focus on building material analysis. In particular, it contains three credits under the Material Disclosure and Optimization title expected to affect the commercial roofing market.
The webcast will help you understand what the Material Disclosure and Optimization credits require; explore the credits' effects on the commercial roofing market from manufacturer and practitioner perspectives; and learn how you can participate in the LEED development process.
