2008-09 scholarship winners (former program)

The Alliance congratulates the recipients of its 2008-09 roofing industry scholarships.

This program will be replaced by the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program. The first award for this program will be made during the 2009-10 school year. Click here for details.

	Jennifer Baxter Carthage, Tenn. Daughter of Chris Baxter, estimator/project manager for Rackley Roofing Co. Inc., Carthage, Tenn.		Brittany Cook Naperville, Ill. Daughter of John Cook, vice president GBA, Lisle, Ill.
	Jason Hartman Nashville, Tenn. Son of Kenneth Hartman, senior project manager for Ford Roofing Co., LLC, Franklin, Tenn.

In addition, the Alliance renewed nine scholarships for the 2008-09 school year. Recipients include the following:

• Elizabeth Ahn, Silver Spring, Md., who is attending University of Maryland: College Park, College Park, Md.
• Christina Erbsen, Salida, Colo., who is attending Corban College, Salem, Ore.
• Ashley Jones, Lavaca, Ark., who is attending University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, Fort Smith, Ark.
• Michael Marzano, Wayne, Ill., who is attending Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.
• Caitlin Narkawicz, Columbia, Conn., who is attending Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I.
• Justine Semack, McDonald, Pa., who is attending West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va.
• Sarah Stabile, Wolcott, Conn., who is attending Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, Conn.
• Aaron Tabor, Lyons, Ill.. who is attending Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Ill.
• Mary Wolfe, Wyomissing, Pa., who is attending Oxford College of Emory University, Oxford, Ga.
