Insurance
Every roofing contractor knows the importance of insuring his or her business and
workers; however, finding the right insurance can be difficult. To assist contractors,
NRCA offers the following information about its endorsed insurance programs.
- For 37 years, NRCA has worked with Chicago-based CNA Insurance Cos. to provide insurance
for roofing contractors. CNA understands the roofing business, and the NRCA/CNA
program includes several critical coverages that are not readily offered by other
carriers.
- Construction Insurance Solutions (CIS) and NRCA have designed a business insurance
program for residential and commercial roofing contractors who are finding it difficult
to obtain adequate insurance to cover their everyday operations.
- Norman-Spencer Int'l Inc. offers NRCA members an insurance solution for risk management,
risk transfer and protectionP.ROOFProfessional Roofing Liability Insurance.
This program covers the liabilities that commercial general liability insurance
may not.
In addition, roofing contractors need health insurance as an effective employee-retention
tool. Although finding a health insurance program that is affordable may seem daunting,
NRCA has found ways to make it easier.
- NRCA partners with HealthInsurance.coman
Internet health insurance broker licensed in all U.S. states; NRCA website users
can research and purchase health insurance for their employees online.
- NRCA members have access to an affordable, low-cost health insurance program available
through Mass Marketing Insurance Consultants (MMIC) Inc., which has 30 years of
experience in the development of successful insurance programs for professional
and trade associations. MMIC offers a broad range of insurance companies, policies
and plans.
- Norman-Spenser Int'l Inc. also offers NRCA members the JLBG Health Insurance Program,
which is aimed at providing affordable health insurance for roofing contractors
and roof consultants.
