As of June 1, 2016, all revisions to OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard are fully effective. Roofing contractors must have trained their workers on the new label elements, which include pictograms, hazard statements, precautionary statements and signal words, and standardized Safety Data Sheet format along with changes contractors have made to their written hazard communication programs.
In this webinar recording, Rich Trewyn, NRCA's director of enterprise risk management, will explain the changes to the standard and outline exactly what employers need to have in place for compliance with the revised rule.
