NRCA maintains a certification based upon ANSI/SPRI ES-1 with Intertek Testing Services, N.A. (ITS), for specific edge-metal flashings that are included in the construction details section of The NRCA Roofing Manual.

NRCA has made arrangements with ITS to allow specific NRCA members to be included in NRCA's ITS certification as authorized fabricators (also referred to as "additional manufacturers"). This designation signifies that the specific NRCA member companies have submitted to and successfully completed third-party verification of compliance with NRCA's certification. These companies are allowed to use ITS product certification mark labels on the specific edge-metal flashing products that comply with NRCA's certification.
