The 2016 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) begins today at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Registration booths will be open from 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the convention center. Activities will begin at 7:45 a.m.
with IRE's educational conferences followed by the IRE keynote with Dr. Beck Weathers at 9:45 a.m. The exhibit hall
will open at 11 a.m., and the welcome party will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar at
Today's activities also include the NRCA Member Meeting and Elections immediately following the keynote speaker at 9:45
a.m.; ROOFPAC's silent auction from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at ROOFPAC's booth, No. 932; NRCA's National Roofing Council
meeting at 1 p.m.; and the National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) board meeting at 1:30 p.m. All these events
will be held at the Orange County Convention Center.
The NRCA member lounge will be open today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center. NRCA's member
lounge is booth No. 841 and located next to NRCA's booth No. 939.
NRLRC's luncheon program will take place at 11 a.m. The luncheon provides attendees with a candid and eye-opening
discussion from some of the industry's top experts about the most current legal, business and technical issues
affecting roofing businesses. It also offers a great opportunity to network with peers. The program will be held at the
Orange County Convention Center and includes lunch. The Future Executives Institute 7 class will be in session from 8
a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center with breakfast served at 7 a.m. In addition, NRCA's Former
Presidents Dinner will be held in the Pacific Room of Big Fin Seafood Kitchen from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Yesterday, participants played in ROOFPAC's golf tournament at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Orlando. The winning
team was Mike Griffin, Chris Gory, Jim Gory and Billy Brown. Second place was Brian Horn, Chuck Hale, Paul Kyle and Paul Weiss. Third place went to George Ferrari, Andrew Patten, Matt Chriswell and Bob Devaron.
Also, Kevin Cheeks won longest drive and Chris Gory won closest to the pin.
The golf tournament was held to raise money for ROOFPAC and support pro-business candidates.
