Class description

Finding roofing products that meet a customer’s needs and satisfy various other requirements can be a daunting task. Add in the need to locate “cool roof” products and one can easily get lost in a sea of product literature and manufacturer websites.

During this one-hour webinar, you will learn how to effectively use the CRRC Rated Products Directory. Each of the more than 3,000 products in the directory has a CRRC product rating that indicates the radiative performance (solar reflectance, thermal emittance and solar reflective index) of the roofing product. Knowing the radiative performance of roofing products is important for understanding the roof system’s effect on building energy use, occupant comfort and the surrounding environment.

After participating in this webinar, you will know how to use the CRRC Rated Products Directory to quickly find roofing products that:

  • Meet your customers’ needs
  • Comply with building energy codes
  • Qualify for rebates
  • Receive LEED credits

You also will learn about cool roof basics and ways to get involved with CRRC.

Please note: Before the webinar begins, you will need to register with NRCA's webinar provider, Zoom. The link to register will be provided with your registration confirmation.
