Qualified Assessor candidates must have supervised or observed roof system installation projects.
Applicants must be:
At least 21 years old
In a supervising or observing position under specific system designation eligibility, such as inspection of installations or quality control observations
To be eligible to become a Qualified Assessor, an applicant must:
Hold a ProCertified certification in a specific roof system designation
Hold a ProCertified Roofing Foreman certification
Have supervised or overseen the roof system-specific installers for at least two years within three years of the date of application
Provide customer names, locations and project specifics to verify experience
Renewal
Renewal for a ProCertification Qualified Assessor is required every three years.
NRCA will notify Qualified Assessors when a significant policy or technical change occurs that requires them to complete additional education related to the change.
To renew, candidates must:
Hold a current Qualified Assessor designation
Submit a renewal application and renewal fee
Stay current with NRCA ProCertification policies and procedures
Maintain a minimum average performance exam evaluation score from certification candidates
