Class description

ASCE 7-16, Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures, is published by the American Society of Civil Engineers and has been significantly revised from previous editions. You need to be aware of the revisions because ASCE 7-16 serves as the basis for determining  design wind loads for buildings, including roof systems. Join us for this live webinar during which Mark S. Graham, NRCA’s vice president of technical services, explains the roofing-related changes to ASCE 7-16 and the effect they will have on roof system design.

Topics covered include:
  • ASCE 7-16 and its applicability
  • Roofing-related changes contained in ASCE 7-16
  • ASCE 7-16’s effect on perimeter and corner fastening
  • How ASCE 7-16 differs from ASCE 7-10 and ASCE 7-05

Take advantage of this free NRCA membership benefit and tune in to this live webinar to stay up to date with technical issues affecting your business!

Please note: Before the webinar begins, you will need  to register with NRCA’s webinar provider, Zoom. The link to register will be provided with your registration confirmation.
