The International Roofing Expo® has announced the keynote speakers for 2024 are Josey Parks and Liza Hausman.
Kicking off the IRE in Las Vegas Feb. 6 at 9:30 a.m., Parks is a leading technologist and contractor who has created a portfolio of technology companies in roofing, solar and home improvement. His mission is to protect the heart of the blue collar industry by leveling the playing field through technology.
In his keynote address, “Man & Machine: How Artificial Intelligence is Poised to Change the Roofing Industry,” Parks will address the need to respond to tech disruptions and the evolving landscape of the roofing industry with optimism and resilience, turning challenges into opportunities. He also will discuss how roofing professionals can explore and embrace using technology in effective ways to better serve their customers, grow their businesses, and make more money.
A keynote session Feb. 7 at 10:30 a.m. will feature Hausman, vice president of industry marketing at Houzz, an innovative residential building and design platform and community where homeowners can find ideas and inspiration, hire professionals and shop for products. Hausman has experience spanning advertising, consulting, marketing and social strategy for Fortune 500 brands and a host of innovative startups.
In her keynote address, “Revolution or Evolution? The 5 Mega Consumer Trends Driving Home Improvement,” Hausman will share the latest research regarding massive macro-trends in consumer behavior and what homeowners want and expect from the roofing industry, as well as report on leading project trends and design preferences, including those influenced by technology, health and accessibility.
